Meet Sue-Ann

The Sweetest Thing was founded by Sue-Ann Montaque in 2014. After graduating from Wolmer's High School, gaining a distinction in Food & Nutrition, I continued my love affair with food going on to train in Culinary Management at The University of Technology, Jamaica. I then went on to work with the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay, garnering a wealth of experience including supervising their fine dining restaurant and representing the company and the Caribbean Atlantic regions in competitions worldwide. 

As a Christian owned business, my concept is founded on Matthew 5:16 - "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven." My goal is to shine my light in the world through the gift given to me by God. Out of this goal, our tagline, "love comes in sweet packages" was born.

Our love is infused in our baked from scratch daily policy ensuring that our customers get the freshest, best tasting gourmet cupcakes and sweet treats imaginable. The bakery offers gourmet cupcakes, specialty custom cakes, pastries and all things sweet.
